Last Friday we had a volunteer appreciation evening at Elmwood Community Center. I invited all our current volunteers to come and spend some time being served rather than serving. It was the staff that did the serving when it came to dinner (and they didn't spill too much on people). We had a great turn-out with over 50 people attending the event, good fun was had by all (I hope) even when I tried to do my Alex Trebek impression as we all took part in "Calvary Jeopardy". It was great to see everyone who came and to have the opportunity to thank them all in person - and for those who could not make it I want to say a big "thank-you" to you too.The church would not be what it is today without God’s blessing and our volunteer's hard work and dedication.
